Mangrove Planting

As part of the environment awareness program of the company, RGTC in partnership with Kane Package Phils. Inc. conducted a Mangrove Planting Activity in Sta. Rosa, Olango Island.

The goal of this activity was to help sustain the livelihood of the people in that area, and protect the coastlines from wave actions.

The activity started with Kane Package's employees sharing their company's overview and goals for the said event. The group then went to the planting site, spreading out over the area, dug holes and planted seedlings. The activity ended with a feast, filling up everyone's stomach and hearts with enjoyment and fulfillment. 'Till the next event guys!

Rococo Class SY 2015-2016

Aligned with the company's advocacy to eventually make Filipino software engineers at par with Japanese standards, and bridge the gap between the university and the industry, RGTC offered a class once more.

RGTC offered classes in partner universities — CIT-U and USC — to equip their respective students with the necessary skills and discipline to survive the rigors of the real world. The class focused on cutting-edge tools and technologies, ensuring that the students become job-ready upon graduation. RGTC's web and cloud development experts served as teachers for this semester to impart not only their knowledge on the different technologies but also their experiences as professionals in the corporate world.

Because of this, high-performing students were scheduled for a job interview and handful were subsequently hired as soon as they graduate.

See you next school year!

RGTC Recruitment Drive

Every year, RGTC visits some of the top universities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to look for outstanding students. Lucky candidates will have a chance to work with young programming experts in RGTC.

Last September, RGTC has started conducting recruitment exams in Cebu Institute of Technology - University and the University of San Carlos. During the recruitment, Mr. Kazuhiko Hasegawa, the CEO of Rococo Co. Ltd. shared some of his experiences with the students. The president pointed out that, in order for a person to be successful, he must set his own goals, then make plans on how to achieve his goals, and execute those plans. After the speech, we can see the excitement on the faces of the students to take the exam.

Almost 90% of those who took the exam passed and will be scheduled for an interview. Next stop would be the universities in Davao City. The date of next recruitment will be announced soon.

Building Trust and Harmony

As one of the yearly events, RGTC held its team building activity in Camotes Island last August 23, 2014. There were two venues for the event. First stop was in Santiago Bay Resort where we had our lunch. Everyone was already hungry after the long journey. We then started the team competition with the game called photo scavenger.

All teams were very competitive, especially during the second game which was the Amazing Race. The third game was frisbee where everyone was so physically exhausted. Unity and cooperation of each team were tested. Although all teams tried their best, the YELLOW TEAM was proclaimed the winner of the whole event.

After the competition, we went to My Little Island Hotel where we had our dinner and spent the whole night partying. The team building activity was tiring yet very memorable ever. 'Till next year guys!

Getting Globally Experienced

Another batch of employees was given a chance to work and experience a professional life in Japan last summer. These five employees were able to meet and interact with clients in Japan. They had a chance to visit some of the famous places and tourist spots in Japan and of course experienced eating the authentic Japanese cuisine. Staying in Japan was not just about work, it was also about enjoying life as an employee of RGTC.

This experience was definitely a very great opportunity as it serves as a learning experience for the employees. Every year is an exciting year for all employees of RGTC as each one of them will have a chance to visit and work in Japan.
